Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abel Steele (ranked 5343 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Campbell (ranked 24751 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamie Campbell has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Abel Steele's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell misses with a wild combination.
Campbell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Abel Steele has been cut.
Campbell lands a jab-cross combination.
Campbell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steele.
Campbell throws a right hand that Steele ducks under and follows up with a left that Steele also avoids with ease.
Steele changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Campbell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Campbell tries to buck Steele off but Steele is having none of it.
Steele tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Steele has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Steele is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Campbell tries to improve position but can't.

Campbell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Steele wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Campbell prevents Steele from moving into mount.
Steele is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Campbell has escaped the position, nice work there.

BOOM! Steele connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Steele lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Campbell is looking to improve his position but Steele isn't that keen on the idea.
Campbell sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Steele was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Campbell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Campbell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Steele, pushing him back against the cage.

Steele might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Steele is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Campbell tries to stand but Steele is controlling from the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Abel Steele will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Campbell lands a two punch combo.
Campbell misses with a series of wild punches.
Campbell throws a nice looking combination but Steele bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Steele tried to counter with a leg kick but Campbell avoided it.
Campbell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Steeles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Steele throws a counter high kick but Campbell was just alert enough to avoid it.
Steele shoots in and bounces Campbell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Steele has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Campbell to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Steele is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Campbell pulls down on the head and he's put Steele to sleep! This one is all over!
