Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huggle Muffin Sweetie Pie (ranked 380 p4p, 55 weight class) and Jay Uzo (ranked 1428 p4p, 212 weight class). Uzo has chosen The Game as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzo misses with a low kick.

Uzo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Huggle Muffin Sweetie Pie has been cut.

Sweetie Pie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sweetie Pie lands in his opponent's guard.
Uzo wants to stand but Sweetie Pie is controlling the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sweetie Pie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Uzo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Uzo tests Sweetie Pie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sweetie Pie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Uzo pinned against the cage. Uzo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Uzo is looking to chop away at Sweetie Pie's legs.
Sweetie Pie closes the distance and clinches up with Uzo, looking for a takedown. Sweetie Pie pushes Uzo against the cage but Uzo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Huggle Muffin Sweetie Pie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sweetie Pie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sweetie Pie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uzo tries to avoid it but Sweetie Pie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uzo to the ground. Uzo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Uzo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sweetie Pie throws a strike but Uzo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sweetie Pie is working an open guard so Uzo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Uzo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sweetie Pie goes for a double leg but Uzo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Uzo continues to drive forward.

A solid leg kick lands there for Uzo.

Uzo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Uzo lands with a cross.
Uzo wants to land a leg kick but Sweetie Pie is out of range.
Sweetie Pie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Uzo.

Uzo throws a leg kick but Sweetie Pie sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Uzo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sweetie Pie sprawling to the canvas! Sweetie Pie rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Uzo finish him?!

Sweetie Pie is rocked!

Uzo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Uzo connects with a superb combination that knocks Sweetie Pie out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Uzo before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Sweetie Pie!
