The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu wants to clinch

and Wong counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wong stops Yu from getting back to his feet.
Wong thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yu's head.

Wong is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wong prevents Yu from standing back up.
Wong is pressing down on Yu's thigh, looking to free his foot. Yu is holding on for now.
Wong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yu wants to get back to his feet.

Yu is trying to stand back up but Wong is controlling him
Yu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wong on the ground.
Wong passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Yu!
Yu is bucking up trying to escape but Wong cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Wong quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Wong but it's paid off an Yu is forced to tap! Nice work by Wong.
