Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Randy Drought (ranked 5234 p4p, 358 weight class) and Ariel Schroder (ranked 5091 p4p, 354 weight class). Randy Drought has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Drought!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ariel Schroder!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schroder shoots in but Drought avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Drought connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Drought fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Schroder throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drought's waist but Drought gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Schroder off to one side.
Drought feinted with a counter takedown.
Schroder throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Drought is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schroder.
Schroder drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Drought defends it well.
Schroder tries to clinch up.
Schroder avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schroder moves out of range as Drought strikes.
Schroder shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drought but Drought pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Randy Drought has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ariel Schroder.
Jab, jab by Drought - just one landing.

Drought misses with an uppercut.

Drought cracks Schroder with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Drought has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Schroder to stand back up!

Schroder is rocked!
Drought cracks Schroder with a left hook right on the temple and Schroder goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Drought lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Schroder is OK!
