Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Logan Paul!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paul closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Paul with the ground and pound but Barron uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Barron is trying to keep Paul in close.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barron working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Paul doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Paul manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Barron trying to keep a closed guard but Paul is proving a slippery customer.

Paul trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Barron manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Barron could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Paul looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barron stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Paul closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Paul throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Barron to regain full guard.

Paul wants to stand but Barron is controlling his posture from full guard.
Paul landing with the ground and pound.
Paul lands a couple of digs.
Paul postures up.

Barron wants to sweep but no luck.
Paul wanted to stand there but Barron had control of the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Barron gets caught flat footed, as Paul shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Paul is looking to pass into half guard but Barron pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Barron is in guard.

Paul doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Paul is pulling down on Barron's head to control his posture.

Barron gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Paul pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like Barron wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Paul tries to clinch but Barron is having none of it.
Paul leaves Barron with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Barron is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Logan Paul dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Paul throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barron was covering up waiting for the punch and Paul finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Barron manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Barron has clasped his hands together around Paul's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee asks Barron politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Barron prefers to stall for the moment though.

Barron stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Paul gets a double leg takedown into Barron's guard.

Paul has gone for a leg lock! Barron slips out almost immediately though and dives into Paul's guard.

Paul wants to sweep but no luck.
Logan Paul has got the better of the ground game so far.
Paul will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Barron stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Paul is breathing heavily.
Paul is looking to clinch.
Barron with a poor takedown
and Paul cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Paul misses with the body kick
and Barron counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Barron circles away from the clinch attempt.

Paul drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Paul looking to sit in guard and control but Barron gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Paul really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barron throws a big right hand that misses.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paul can do anything to dispel that myth.

Barron thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Paul keeping moving, preventing Barron from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barron working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Barron's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Barron decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Barron manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Barron lands an elbow just above Paul 's eye.


It looks like Logan Paul has been cut.

Barron pulls Paul into guard.
Barron not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Barron bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Paul's guard.


Barron gets to his feet. Paul looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Paul manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Barron on his heels. He'll look to pass Barron's guard now, I'm sure.

Barron wriggles free and stands up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Barron fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Paul sprawls well initially but Barron persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Barron looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Barron has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Barron lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Barron is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Barron decides to return to a standing position.
Paul swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Barron counters with a head kick. That will keep Paul thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tanner Barron dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Logan Paul's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Paul darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Barron makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Barron.
Barron is trying to control the position but Paul postures up.
Paul trying to control but Barron is working from the bottom.

Paul throws a sloppy head kick and Barron moves out of range easily.
Paul takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Paul scores with a jab to the body.
Paul wants to clinch up but Barron keeps it at a distance.
Logan Paul is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Paul misses with a left hand
and Barron counters with a nice uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Paul closes the distance but Barron moves to the side
and Barron counters with a head kick. That will keep Paul thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Barron lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Paul is rocked!

Barron fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Paul sprawls well initially but Barron persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barron takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Barron decides to stand up.
Paul doesn't manage to clinch there - Barron circles away.

Barron ducks right into an uppercut from Paul.

Paul gets the takedown into side control.
Paul avoids the strikes from the bottom by Barron.
Barron struggling a bit here.
Paul connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Barron some visible discomfort.
Barron can't do much from the bottom here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Barron is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Barron is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ground and pound from Paul.
Paul is trying to control. Barron wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Paul is thwarting Barron's attempts to control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Barron slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Logan Paul.
I think Paul has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
