Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sang Haley (ranked 6967 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Conners (ranked 5267 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stan Conners!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conners dives in and grabs Haley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Haley pushes down on Conners's head and hops out.
Haley tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Conners manages to circle out of the way.
Conners fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Haley gets tackled into the cage by Conners. Conners maintains the clinch.
Haley letting Conners take a breather here.
Conners content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Conners pushes Haley back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Haley tries to break free but Conners pushes him back against the cage.

Haley pulls guard successfully.
Haley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Conners is one step ahead there.

Conners stands and steps away. Haley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Haley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Conners scores with a hook to the body.
Conners connects with a nasty looking knee right to Haley's face.

Conners lands a nice elbow.

Oh Haley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Conners stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Haley seems to have got his legs back now.

Conners will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Haley up against the cage.

Conners digs a right hand into Haley's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Haley's gas tank.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Haley wants to stand and escape but Conners is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conners controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Conners has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Haley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Haley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Conners uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Stan Conners is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Conners shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haley pinned against the cage. Haley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Haley tried to counter with a leg kick but Conners avoided it.

Stan Conners showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Conners can't find room to land a body shot as Haley controls the action.

Haley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Conners pulls his leg out and moves away.
Haley slaps away a takedown attempt from Conners, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Haley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Haley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
