The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Hard or perhaps it was just good defense by Anstey which made him look bad.
Hard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anstey swivels and escapes.
Hard fails with the takedown.
Bunny Anstey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Hard.
Hard looks gassed!

Anstey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Anstey is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anstey is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hard is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
