Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Maynard (ranked 24698 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cloey Oliver (ranked 5347 p4p, 0 weight class). Cloey Oliver will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Oliver.
Oliver connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cloey Oliver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliver darts in looking for a takedown but Maynard gets double underhooks and turns Oliver into the cage.
Oliver shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maynard pinned against the cage. Maynard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Oliver postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maynard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Oliver, into his guard.

Oliver is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Oliver is stalling here. Maynard is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Oliver seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Maynard has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Oliver is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Maynard has his hands clasped together but Oliver extends and breaks Maynard's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Oliver.
