Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scottie Mcniel (ranked 3370 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stark Livingston (ranked 3349 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scottie Mcniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stark Livingston !
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Livingston stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Livingston wants it to stay on the feet.

Livingston throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcniel was covering up waiting for the punch and Livingston finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Livingston is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mcniel lands some strikes from the bottom.

Mcniel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Livingston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Livingston is looking to stand up but Mcniel won't let him.

Livingston stands and steps away. Mcniel gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Livingston decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mcniel tries to kick Livingston off in order to stand up. Livingston Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcniel stops Livingston from passing to mount.

Livingston stands up and beckons Mcniel to his feet.

Livingston scores with a takedown into Mcniel's guard.
Livingston postures up.

Livingston stands and steps away. Mcniel gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mcniel misses with a head kick.
Livingston steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mcniel.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Livingston shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcniel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Livingston sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Livingston is working Mcniel over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Mcniel trying to keep a closed guard but Livingston is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Livingston chips away with some ground and pound.
Livingston won't allow Mcniel to get back to his feet.
Livingston keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mcniel's head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Livingston thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Livingston prevents Mcniel from getting back to his feet.
Livingston controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mcniel is trying to keep Livingston in close.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Livingston closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcniel did well to prevent Livingston getting side control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Livingston in particular looking to stall.
Livingston tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mcniel.
Mcniel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mcniel isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Livingston stacks Mcniel on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Livingston !
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stark Livingston dominated that round.
That's time! Mcniel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Mcniel takes the fight into the clinch.
Mcniel tries for a takedown. No joy.

Livingston gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Mcniel is trying to control Livingston 's posture. Livingston takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Mcniel! Livingston is rotating here... this could be the end... Mcniel is out! Livingston has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
