Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arlie Ashley (ranked 25143 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hung Lo (ranked 5343 p4p, 214 weight class). Lo has chosen It G Ma as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hung Lo!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ashley fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ashley slaps away a takedown attempt from Lo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
As Lo tries to get set, Ashley tries to push him back and clinch up but Lo manages to avoid the attempt.
Ashley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ashley dodges the punch combination from Lo.
A quick step to the side and Ashley tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lo closes the distance and pushes Ashley back into the cage.

Lo breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lo feints with a jab and clips Ashley right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Ashley is sent crashing into the canvas and Lo leaps in for the kill! Ashley tries to get to his feet but Lo is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Ashley is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hung Lo!
Hung Lo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
