Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Laws (ranked 4165 p4p, 400 weight class) and Green Bastard (ranked 4987 p4p, 450 weight class). Green Bastard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard throws a one two combo.

Bastard tries to keep at a distance but Laws has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bastard wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bastard tries to break the clinch but Laws is controlling the position.
Bastard is pressed up against the cage. Laws has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bastard down to the mat. Bastard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Laws drives through and clinches with Bastard against the cage.
Laws is looking for a takedown.
Bastard should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bastard wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Laws wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Laws. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bastard is pushing Laws up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Laws turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Laws swings around for an armbar but Bastard sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Laws's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Laws is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bastard rolls with it to try and escape but Laws cranks on the arm and Bastard is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
