AFC #31 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zell Dincht (ranked 3119 p4p, 360 weight class) and Slade Wilson (ranked 3009 p4p, 350 weight class). Dincht comes into the arena with Disturbed - Down With The Sickness blaring out of the sound system. Wilson has chosen Hypnotize - The Notorious B.I.G. as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Wilson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dincht did well to prevent Wilson getting side control.
Dincht knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wilson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dincht is looking to improve his position.
Wilson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Despite the aggression on Wilson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Dincht connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wilson momentarily.
Wilson has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
