Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noriega stuffs the takedown attempt from Rutten. Rutten gets slowly back to his feet.
Rutten looks to land a combination but Noriega avoids it well.
Noriega throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Noriega is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rutten moves in looking to clinch but Noriega pushes him off.

Noriega might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rutten kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Noriega is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rutten is just riding it out for now. Noriega eventually gives up the hold.

Noriega is keen to just control but Rutten is a slippery customer.

Rutten gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Noriega has his feet on Rutten's thighs here. He's pushed Rutten off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Rutten screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
