The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Glost scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Thomas beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
It looks like Will Thomas has been cut.
Thomas misses the shot to the body.
Thomas walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Hermann Van Glost!
In his post fight interview, Hermann Van Glost started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
