The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Minaj dives in and grabs Azambuja's left leg, looking for a takedown. Azambuja pushes down on Minaj's head and hops out.
Minaj looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Minaj manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Azambuja on his heels. He'll look to pass Azambuja's guard now, I'm sure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Minaj looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Azambuja with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
