Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Leonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonov comes to the cage accompanied by Red october. The crowd seem to be enjoying Evans's choice of entrance music: Metallica- For Whom The Bell Tolls. Greg Evans has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonov shoots in for a takedown but Evans shows good takedown defense.
Vadim Leonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Evans moves into the clinch successfully.
Leonov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Evans is trying to break free.

Evans breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Evans keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Leonov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Evans as he avoids it easily.

Evans is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Leonov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Evans is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Leonov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Evans to see if he's OK.

Leonov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leonov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Evans seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Leonov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

No joy there for Evans, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Evans lands with a nice combination. Leonov backs away looking to recover.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oooh a lovely combination from Evans sends Leonov down but not out. Evans dives into side control looking to finish.
Leonov tries to bench press Evans off him but Evans keeps the position.
Evans is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Leonov will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Evans stands up and beckons Leonov to his feet.

Leonov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Evans to the mat! Evans manages to get full guard.

Leonov throws and elbow that misses. Evans uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Leonov's guard. Nice move by Evans!

Leonov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Leonov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Evans stands up and waves to Leonov to follow him.

Evans shoots in looking for a takedown. Leonov tries to sprawl out of it but Evans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leonov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Evans gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

It looks like Vadim Leonov has been cut.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evans seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Evans has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Evans closes the distance and clinches up with Leonov, looking for a takedown. Evans pushes Leonov against the cage but Leonov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
