Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Android Ten (ranked 4299 p4p, 189 weight class) and Ono Kuronoa (ranked 4785 p4p, 204 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ono Kuronoa!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuronoa scores with a hook to the body. Ten takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ten keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kuronoa.

Ten shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ten was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kuronoa is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Ten is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kuronoa has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuronoa can't do much from the bottom here.

Ten tries for a kimura but Kuronoa is defending well.
Ten scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kuronoa to see if he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ten working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kuronoa gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kuronoa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ten's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ten's back!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kuronoa is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ten has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kuronoa has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ten taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kuronoa doesn't care though - he's delighted!
