Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Masa Wasa (ranked 3642 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Ryan (ranked 7521 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome To The Jungle. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasa throws a combination. Ryan tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Wasa lands a body shot.
Ryan swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wasa counters with a stiff right hand.
Ryan shoots and misses
and Wasa counters with a nice uppercut.
Wasa scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ryan in his tracks.
Masa Wasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryan blocks a head kick by Wasa.
Ryan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wasa ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ryan takes a jab right on the kisser.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd cheers as Wasa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ryan doesn't seem phased though.

We've been hearing reports that Wasa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ryan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wasa stuffs the takedown attempt from Ryan. Ryan gets slowly back to his feet.
Masa Wasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicky Ryan.
Wasa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ryan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A lazy left from Wasa finds it's target.

Wasa scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Ryan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ryan is still on wobbly legs! Can Wasa finish him?
Nice shot lands for Wasa.
Ryan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wasa lands a lovely overhand right.
Ryan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wasa drops Ryan with a naaaaasty hook - Ryan is in real trouble here! Wasa dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
