These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thaddeus Reese!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zach Killer !
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Reese - that will leave a mark!
Killer looks gassed!
Reese thuds his shin into the meat of Killer 's side.
Reese with a body punch. A glancing blow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reese looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Reese clinches.
Reese using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Reese unloads a knee to the mid-section. Killer lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Reese lands a nice knee to the body.

Reese breaks the clinch.
A punch combination from Reese misses.
Reese throws a wild body kick that Killer sees coming a mile off.

Reese changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Killer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Reese thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Killer is not content to let Reese control the position.
Killer tries to buck Reese off but Reese is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Reese is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Killer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Killer is trying to improve his position.
Reese scores with a couple of short elbows.
Killer taking punishment in the form of punches.

Reese is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Killer is trying to escape and Reese transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Killer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Reese! Very nice indeed!
