Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dalip Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 46 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toni Urg!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urg doesn't manage to clinch there - Singh circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Urg enables Singh to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Urg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Singh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Singh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Urg looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Singh lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee warns Urg that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Singh with a couple of short strikes.
Singh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Urg is working to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Urg defending well as Singh loads up on a big left hand.
Toni Urg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Singh lands a nice hook to Urg's body. Urg takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Singh jabs Urg right on the nose. Urg blinks but takes it well.

Urg tries to keep at a distance but Singh has taken the fight into the clinch.
Urg tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Singh for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Singh tightens his grip and picks Urg up, before dumping him to the ground. Urg manages to land in guard.

Urg looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Singh with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Singh is working Urg over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Urg is wriggling around but Singh manages to pass to half guard.

Urg on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Urg is looking to improve his position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Singh not doing much here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Singh moves into the clinch.
Urg is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Singh gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Urg is looking to control Singh's arms but Singh gets an underhook and turns him. Now Urg has his back to the cage.
Singh just leaning against Urg, taking a breather.
Urg tries to stall but Singh uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Singh has Urg pressed against the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Singh keeps control of Urg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Urg swings wildly with an uppercut but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dalip Singh dominated that second round.
That's time! Singh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Urg.

Singh cracks Urg with an uppercut from hell and Urg crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Singh's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!


Urg is rocked!


It looks like Toni Urg has been cut.
Singh content to stall in guard here.
Urg is still in real trouble! Can Singh finish him?
Singh postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Urg covers up, he's hurt! Singh keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Singh and the ref steps in to end the fight! Singh can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dalip Singh!
