The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackblood bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Calacon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blackblood moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Calacon moves into range and clinches up with Blackblood.
Calacon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Blackblood throws a punch but it's blocked by Calacon.
Calacon lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Calacon is trying to force a seperation but Blackblood has the dominant position.

Blackblood shoots in looking for a takedown but Calacon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Blackblood's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Conrad Calacon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blackblood jabs Calacon right on the nose. Calacon blinks but takes it well.
Calacon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Calacon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Calacon tries to clinch but Blackblood moves out of range.

Calacon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Blackblood is rocked!
Blackblood switches off momentarily and Calacon cracks him with a monster right hand! Blackblood topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Calacon dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Calacon!
