The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marlow looks to land a body kick but Shadow moved away.
Shadow closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Marlow quickly recovers to half guard.
Marlow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Shadow takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Shadow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Shadow has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
BOOM! Shadow connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Marlow is in all sorts of trouble here.
Marlow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Shadow postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Marlow in real trouble here! The ref calls for Marlow to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
