Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Todd (ranked 4758 p4p, 524 weight class) and Oleg Jomaro (ranked 24873 p4p, 675 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Oleg Jomaro enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Todd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oleg Jomaro!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jomaro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Todd but Todd pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jomaro shoots in and drives through. Todd sprawls well.
Todd seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Todd controlling the pace.
Jomaro keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jomaro is staying active underneath Todd, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Todd accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jomaro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Todd as he jumps to the side.

Todd bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Todd has knee on belly momentarily but Jomaro bucks him off and regains half guard.

Todd wants to work for an arm triangle but Jomaro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Todd has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jomaro wants to hold on but Todd pushes him away.
Todd tries to control but Jomaro wriggling away.
Todd lands a big elbow.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Todd closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Todd lands in his opponent's guard.

Jomaro is working an open guard so Todd takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Todd shoots in and bounces Jomaro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
