Carter feints and as Dodson raises his hands in defense, Carter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dodson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Carter off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Darren Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter darts in and clinches Dodson up against the cage.

Carter lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
