Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Gustasson (ranked 4439 p4p, 511 weight class) and Cory Trevor (ranked 2631 p4p, 356 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustasson blocks a head kick by Trevor.
Gustasson looks to land a combination but Trevor avoids it well.
Trevor scores with a hook to the body. Gustasson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Trevor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gustasson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Trevor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gustasson scrambles back to his feet.
Trevor lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Alexander Gustasson has been cut.
Gustasson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Trevor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Trevor tries to bum rush Gustasson with a series of wild strikes but Gustasson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gustasson closes the distance but Trevor moves to the side
letting Trevor counter with a right hand.
Gustasson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Trevor shapes to counter with a head kick.

Trevor moves into range and connects with a jab.

Trevor cracks Gustasson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gustasson looks to clinch
and Trevor counters with a nice body shot.
Gustasson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Trevor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Trevor has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Trevor cracks Gustasson with an open hand slap.
Gustasson is rocked!

and Trevor counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Gustasson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trevor drops Gustasson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gustasson looks back up at him and smiles so Trevor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trevor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gustasson is breathing heavily.
Trevor lands with an uppercut that bounces Gustasson off the cage and back into range.

Trevor cracks Gustasson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Gustasson falls to his knees and Trevor doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Trevor!
An out of breath Cory Trevor thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Alexander Gustasson was interviewed post fight and said 'it is what it is I'll come back stronger and better'.
