The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anubis closes the distance and clinches.
Anubis lands a nice shot to the body.
Xavier blocks a body shot from Anubis.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Anubis.
Anubis is looking to break free of the clinch but Xavier has double underhooks.

Xavier jumps guard but Anubis turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Anubis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Anubis stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Anubis breaks from the clinch.
Anubis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Xavier doesn't seem bothered though.
Po Anubis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anubis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Xavier drops down looking for a counter takedown but Anubis sprawls and moves away.

Anubis lands with a good body shot.
Anubis thuds his right hand into Xavier's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Xavier prevents Anubis from breaking the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Anubis.

Anubis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Anubis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Xavier backwards.

Xavier is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
A body shot lands from Anubis.
Anubis wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Xavier has him pressed against the cage.

Anubis will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Xavier up against the cage.

Xavier decides to pull guard.

Anubis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Xavier to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Anubis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Xavier pulls down on the head and he's put Anubis to sleep! This one is all over!
