Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Cody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and stttt yttrt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cody kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Adrenaline-Gavin Rossdale. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cody tries a head kick but it misses.

Cody closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

yttrt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cody. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
yttrt is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cody is controlling him well.

yttrt is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cody asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Cody creates some space and throws a big elbow, but yttrt sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cody stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and Cody counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
yttrt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Cody gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
stttt yttrt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
yttrt looks to land a body kick but Cody moved away.
Cody circles away from the clinch attempt

and Cody counters with a shoot takedown. yttrt fights it but they end up in guard.

Cody stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. yttrt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
yttrt wants to stand and escape but Cody is having none of it.

Cody drops back looking for a leg! yttrt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and yttrt manages to kick Cody off! Cody jumps back into yttrt's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
