Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Turd McPherson (ranked 1642 p4p, 59 weight class) and Moon Up Sun Up (ranked 1999 p4p, 74 weight class). Moon Up Sun Up told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Turd McPherson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moon Up Sun Up!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from McPherson is predictable there
and Sun Up counters with a nice kick to the body.

McPherson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sun Up on his heels. He'll look to pass Sun Up's guard now, I'm sure.
Sun Up tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McPherson landing some decent shots from guard.
McPherson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Sun Up is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McPherson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
McPherson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sun Up is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McPherson working the head and body with strikes.
Sun Up is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Sun Up is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McPherson scores with a couple of nice shots.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McPherson lands a nice short elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McPherson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McPherson lands a big elbow - Sun Up is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for McPherson!
