Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walter Petrucci (ranked 6047 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Kucharski (ranked 4077 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter Petrucci looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrucci throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kucharski tries to counter with a clinch but Petrucci shakes him off and moves away.
Kucharski doesn't manage to clinch there - Petrucci circles away.
Petrucci tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kucharski was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrucci.

It looked like Petrucci wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Petrucci tries to keep at a distance but Kucharski has taken the fight into the clinch.
Petrucci wants to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kucharski is trying to pull guard but Petrucci turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Kucharski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Petrucci smiles and moves away.
Walter Petrucci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Kucharski.
Petrucci displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kucharski.
Kucharski moves forwards but Petrucci connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Kucharski has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kucharski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Petrucci can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kucharski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Petrucci is aware though and is defending well.
Petrucci wants to control from the top but Kucharski keeps moving.
Kucharski pulls Petrucci in close to prevent any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kucharski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Petrucci defends well.

Petrucci is sitting in close to Kucharski's body. Kucharski has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Petrucci is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Petrucci is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kucharski.
