Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Okami Kumo (ranked 2665 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darnell Jackson (ranked 6676 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kumo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminem - Till I Collapse. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Darnell Jackson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darnell Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jackson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Kumo fails with the takedown.
Kumo shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kumo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Okami Kumo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kumo drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.

Kumo has Jackson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jackson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kumo jumps guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kumo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jackson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kumo shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Kumo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kumo slips under a jab.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kumo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kumo misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Darnell Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kumo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kumo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kumo shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kumo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kumo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes.
Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
An attempted straight right counter from Kumo misses the target.

Jackson throws the left hand but Kumo avoids the punch easily.
Jackson looks winded!
Jackson instigates a clinch.
Kumo can't get the takedown.
Jackson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kumo jumps into guard, dragging Jackson to the mat.
Kumo is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jackson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kumo's body to avoid the submission. Kumo has instead reached around Jackson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kumo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Okami Kumo!
