The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons throws a sloppy head kick and Krawlee moves out of range easily.

Parsons closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Parsons lands in his opponent's guard.
Parsons has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Krawlee is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krawlee is looking to cinch up a triangle. Parsons throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Krawlee's body to avoid the submission. Krawlee has instead reached around Parsons's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Krawlee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

After winning the bout, Kreepee Krawlee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
