Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Iota Knox (ranked 2390 p4p, 118 weight class) and Hiroaki Hidaka (ranked 3136 p4p, 150 weight class). Knox's entrance music is The Blacker The Berry | Kendrick Lamar. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Hidaka as he connects with a hook.
Knox has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Hidaka dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Knox misses with a body punch
and Hidaka counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hidaka throws a jab but it's blocked by Knox.

and Hidaka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hidaka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knox finds it's way round the side to connect with Hidaka's head.

Hidaka uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hidaka misses with a series of wild punches.
Knox darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Some bone on bone action there as Hidaka checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Knox takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hidaka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knox stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hidaka drops Knox with a beautiful combination! Knox stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hidaka is looking for the KO!

Hidaka is stalking Knox. Knox circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Hidaka, and it's lights out! Knox really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
