Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Freak (ranked 5486 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice King (ranked 5074 p4p, 0 weight class). Maurice King is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freak closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. King did well to prevent Freak getting side control.

Freak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

King is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Freak pulls his head out easily.
