The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Pilar lands with a shot to the body.
Del Pilar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thorpe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Del Pilar .
Thorpe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Del Pilar misses with a wild body shot.
Thorpe misses with a low kick.
Del Pilar misses with a jab to the body
and Thorpe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

letting Thorpe counter with a right hand.
Del Pilar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thorpe moves away.
Thorpe looks to score with a jab to the body but Del Pilar is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Del Pilar goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Del Pilar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thorpe moves away.
Thorpe throws out a counter right but Del Pilar avoids it with no problem.
