PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mang Kanor (ranked 5421 p4p, 570 weight class) and Flip Fortuin (ranked 5517 p4p, 577 weight class). Kanor comes into the arena with Noypi by Bamboo blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fortuin's choice of entrance music: You shook me all night long. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanor scores with a jab to the body.
Kanor throws a hook but Fortuin avoids it easily.

Kanor instigates a clinch.
Kanor lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Fortuin.
Fortuin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kanor is defending well for now.
Kanor gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Flip Fortuin has been cut.
Fortuin taking a breather.
Fortuin wants to stall.
Fortuin stalling in the clinch but Kanor improves position.
Fortuin is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Kanor has denied him.

Kanor lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fortuin backwards.
Fortuin is trying to maintain a safe position but Kanor gets an underhook and turns Fortuin into the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Flip Fortuin.

Fortuin walks into a big right hand from Kanor and goes down! The referee sends Kanor to a neutral corner as Fortuin gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kanor connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Fortuin out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Mang Kanor bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
