The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jager drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Saulnier's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
A control attempt from Saulnier but he's now mounted!
Jager is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Saulnier tries to hold on but Jager postures up.
Jager lands a heavy elbow.
Saulnier holds on to Jager around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.

Jager is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Saulnier can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Saulnier wants to control but Jager is having none of it.

Jager looking for a guillotine from mount but Saulnier is having none of it.
Saulnier is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jager lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Game Saulnier has been cut.
Jager lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Saulnier tries to reverse the position but Jager maintains control.
Saulnier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jager. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee warns Saulnier that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The cut above Game Saulnier's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jager trying to control but Saulnier is having none of it.
Jager postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Saulnier badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jager around the waist but Jager pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jager is the winner by TKO! Jager jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
