Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JoJo Diaz (ranked 1632 p4p, 156 weight class) and Luis Vega (ranked 1909 p4p, 174 weight class). Vega is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Truth - Atomic thunder. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a head kick but Vega moves out of range.
Vega is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Diaz with a body shot.
Vega avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Vega misses with a combination
and Diaz counters with a good low kick that Vega was not able to check.
Vega gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vega misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.
Diaz throws a head kick that Vega semi-blocks.
Vega throws a leg kick
and Vega takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Diaz misses with a head kick.
Diaz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Vega checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Diaz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Vega is rocked!
Diaz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vega scores with a jab. Diaz acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circling - Vega throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
As Vega looks to move away, Diaz throws a big counter combo but Vega just gets out of the way.
Diaz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Vega swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diaz counters with a straight right hand.
Vega is still on wobbly legs! Can Diaz finish him?
Diaz looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Diaz backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Vega's temple! It sends Vega violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Diaz celebrates and the doctors try to help Vega!
