The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stallion has managed to clinch.

Richards has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stallion uses from the top position.

Richards is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Stallion stands up over Richards, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Stallion distracts Richards with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Richards on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Richards tries to get out of the position.
Stallion stands and throws Richards's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Richards takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Richards takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Stallion is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Oh Richards is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stallion cracks Richards with a big right hand but Richards just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Stallion crunches a massive hammerfist down on Richards - he's out! Stallion Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
