Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alonso Herman (ranked 24918 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perrin Aibarra (ranked 6258 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Aibarra's calf.

Herman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Herman showed some decent athleticism there.
Herman is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Herman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Aibarra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Herman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aibarra can do anything to dispel that myth.
Aibarra is positioning himself well to prevent Herman advancing to mount.
Herman is looking to take a break and control but Aibarra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Herman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Herman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Aibarra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Aibarra closes the distance and pushes Herman back into the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Aibarra takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Herman slips a jab and a cross from Aibarra.
Herman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aibarra's waist but Aibarra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Herman off to one side.

Aibarra moves into range and clinches up with Herman.
With the fighters up against the cage, Aibarra throws an elbow but misses.

Aibarra turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Herman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

A looping hook to the body misses from Herman. Aibarra does a little dance to reset his feet.

Well Aibarra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
