The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Treadwell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cathaway swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nice shot lands for Cathaway.
Treadwell tries to clinch but Cathaway moves out of range.
Cathaway looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cathaway just misses with a punch to the body.
Treadwell misses with a hook. Cathaway ducked under it nicely.
Treadwell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cathaway but Cathaway pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Treadwell shoots in looking for a takedown but Cathaway manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Treadwell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cathaway jabs Treadwell to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cathaway closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cathaway lands with a light punch inside.
Treadwell wants to take the fight to the mat but Cathaway manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Treadwell tries to pull guard but Cathaway won't allow it.
Cathaway is trying to break the clinch but Treadwell is controlling him.

Cathaway breaks the clinch.
A good leg kick by Cathaway.
Treadwell dives in and grabs Cathaway's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cathaway pushes down on Treadwell's head and hops out.
Cathaway uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Horrible takedown attempt by Treadwell or perhaps it was just good defense by Cathaway, which made it look bad.
Treadwell checks a leg kick.
Treadwell changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Treadwell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cathaway can pounce on him.
Cathaway misses the shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Treadwell shoots in for a double leg but Cathaway sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Treadwell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cathaway.
Treadwell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Treadwell is rocked!
BOOM! Cathaway lands a beautiful left hook that drops Treadwell. Treadwell tries to recover but Cathaway is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Treadwell lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
