The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saades moves out of range of the strikes.

Baroni throws an overhand right that lands on Saades's shoulder, as Saades tries to avoid the shot.
Saades throws a big counter combination but Baroni scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Saades fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Baroni looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Saades throws a push kick but Baroni slaps the foot to one side.
Saades looks for the body kick but Baroni saw that one coming.
It seemed like Baroni was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Baroni has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Saades lands with a kick to the temple. Baroni shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Saades cracks Baroni with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Saades has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Baroni to stand back up!

Saades throws a shot from downtown. Baroni moves away and avoids it.
Baroni swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Baroni takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Saades fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baroni manages to avoid it.
Saades sizes up Baroni with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Baroni is still on wobbly legs! Can Saades finish him?

Baroni seems to have recovered his senses.
Baroni lands a really nice looking cross but Saades seems unphased.

Baroni let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Saades throws a push kick but Baroni slaps the foot to one side.

Saades walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Baroni fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Baroni misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Baroni is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Saades had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Baroni sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Saades dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Baroni. That did some damage!
Both fighters circling a little - Saades finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Saades feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Baroni collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
