These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns leaves Hunt with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Burns is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hunt.

Burns shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hunt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Burns throws a strike but Hunt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Hunt prevents Burns from standing back up.
Burns tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hunt has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Hunt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hunt is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Burns wants to try and get back to his feet.
Burns is wriggling around trying to escape.

The referee warns Burns that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Burns is looking to get to half guard.

Burns is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Hunt has taken his back!

Hunt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hunt is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
