Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Buriak (ranked 1083 p4p, 167 weight class) and Eddie Nordon (ranked 1140 p4p, 175 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Dimitri Buriak has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dimitri Buriak seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buriak throws a good cross that connects.
Buriak avoids a punch combination nicely.
Buriak tries to clinch but Nordon is having none of it.
Nordon throws a lazy right hand but Buriak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Buriak tries to bum rush Nordon with a series of wild strikes but Nordon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nordon looks to score with a jab to the body but Buriak is just out of range.
Buriak takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Nordon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And Nordon tries to counter it with a takedown but Buriak pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Nordon closes the distance and clinches up with Buriak, looking for a takedown. Nordon pushes Buriak against the ropes but Buriak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nordon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buriak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nordon somewhat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nordon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Buriak sees it coming and defends easily.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Nordon and the ref steps in to end the fight! Nordon can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
