Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akira Harada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Jones Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harada staying out of range there.
Harada cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A punch lands to the side of Gracie 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Akira Harada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a hook to the side of Harada's head but Harada sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie takes a jab right on the kisser.
Harada fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracie on the side of the head.
Harada throws a hook but Gracie blocks it.

Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Harada has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gracie is on him like a limpet, forcing Harada back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A body shot lands from Harada.
Gracie is trying to break free.

Harada pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Harada connects with a jab.
Harada throws a leg kick but Gracie moved away.
Harada looks to throw the jab but Gracie is out of range.
Gracie with the counter takedown but Harada avoids it easily.

Harada rushes Gracie and presses him up against the cage.
Gracie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Harada lands a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie jumps guard but Harada turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Gracie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Harada has him pressed against the cage.
Gracie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gracie looking to stall.
Harada lands a knee to the head.
Gracie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Harada smiles and moves away.
Akira Harada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Jones Gracie.
Harada misses with a looping left.
Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Harada looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Harada moves into the clinch successfully.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Harada holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.

Harada pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Gracie gets tackled into the cage by Harada. Harada maintains the clinch.

Harada manages to break the clinch.
Harada lands a lovely overhand right.
Gracie throws a poor cross that misses

and Harada counters with a nice right hand that sends Gracie toppling to the canvas! Gracie scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Harada finish him?!

Gracie is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harada fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Harada finish him?
Harada lands a brutal uppercut that launches Gracie off his feet! Gracie tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
