Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cassius Bellatoo (ranked 5735 p4p, 505 weight class) and Jacob Brewer (ranked 4657 p4p, 472 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bellatoo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Brewer is defending well.
Bellatoo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brewer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bellatoo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Brewer moves into range and clinches up with Bellatoo.
Brewer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brewer is pressed up against the cage. Bellatoo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brewer down to the mat. Brewer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cassius Bellatoo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bellatoo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nice sprawl there from Bellatoo as Brewer shoots in.
Bellatoo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bellatoo wants it to stay on the feet.

As Bellatoo backs off Brewer throws a huge counter combo but Bellatoo manages to avoid it all.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bellatoo or perhaps it was just good defense by Brewer, which made it look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been hearing good reports from Bellatoo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Brewer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bellatoo stands and throws Brewer's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bellatoo is working to tighten his grip on Brewer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Brewer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bellatoo is really squeezing tight and eventually Brewer passes out! Bellatoo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
