The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halstead drives through with a takedown into guard.

Halstead controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rodriguez is wriggling around but Halstead manages to pass to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rodriguez is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Halstead is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rodriguez sees it coming and defends easily.
Halstead has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rodriguez throws a pinpoint strike between Halstead's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Halstead crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Rodriguez scores a great knockout victory!
