Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Prado (ranked 5477 p4p, 494 weight class) and Dale Harengody (ranked 3539 p4p, 400 weight class). Dale Harengody will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Harengody.
Prado has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Harengody finds it's way round the side to connect with Prado's head.
Harengody swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Prado.
Harengody lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Harengody moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Prado throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Prado misses with a takedown attempt - Harengody sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Harengody manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Prado on his heels. He'll look to pass Prado's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harengody wants to control from the top but Prado keeps moving.

Harengody thuds his right hand into Prado's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Harengody's coach down at JAG Training Grounds [$600/week] was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Harengody's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Prado gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Harengody.
Prado has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Harengody.

Prado closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Harengody digs a good body shot into Prado's ribs.

Harengody wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Harengody closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Prado to the mat! Prado manages to get full guard.

Harengody must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Harengody loads up on a big left hand. Prado felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Harengody looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Prado can't hide his disappointment, as Harengody celebrates the victory.
