Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boon Wrecking Ball (ranked 1521 p4p, 23 weight class) and Macho Randy (ranked 1448 p4p, 22 weight class). Macho Randy will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrecking Ball moves out of range of the strikes.
Wrecking Ball tries to counter with a takedown but Randy is quick to defend against it.
Randy scores with a jab to the body.
Randy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wrecking Ball.
Randy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Macho Randy has been cut.
Randy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Randy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wrecking Ball is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Randy is just riding it out for now. Wrecking Ball eventually gives up the hold.

Wrecking Ball jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Randy walks away with a smile on his face. Wrecking Ball gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wrecking Ball throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Randy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wrecking Ball is in Randy's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wrecking Ball accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Randy creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wrecking Ball with a big uppercut! Wrecking Ball tries to clinch up but Randy pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Wrecking Ball to the mat! Wrecking Ball covers up and Randy unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Macho Randy!
Macho Randy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
