The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springs misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lennartsson ducks under a wild hook from Springs.
Randy Springs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Lennartsson as Springs shoots in.
Springs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Springs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Springs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lennartsson as he avoids it easily.

Lennartsson throws the left hand but Springs avoids the punch easily.

Springs tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lennartsson avoids it.
Lennartsson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lennartsson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lennartsson drops his shoulder and cracks Springs with a huge uppercut! Springs goes down! Can Lennartsson finish him?
Lennartsson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Lennartsson is really struggling to control Springs but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Lennartsson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Lennartsson throws a strike but Springs rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Lennartsson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Springs throws an elbow but misses.
Lennartsson slowing the pace effectively.
Lennartsson breaks the clinch.

Springs has his takedown stuffed
and Springs takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Springs is rocked!
Springs darts in trying to clinch
and Lennartsson counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
