Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Allen Kenneth (ranked 8014 p4p, 568 weight class) and Santiago Nasar (ranked 7036 p4p, 550 weight class). Allen Kenneth could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Santiago Nasar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Allen Kenneth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Santiago Nasar!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenneth shoots in for a double leg but Nasar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kenneth throws a right hand that Nasar ducks under and follows up with a left that Nasar also avoids with ease.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kenneth is defended easily by Nasar.
Nasar wants to counter the offense by Kenneth and move into the clinch position.

Nasar has picked Kenneth up - he's going for a ride! Nasar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nasar working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Nasar has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kenneth is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Nasar.

Nasar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kenneth knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kenneth for a finish.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Nasar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Nasar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kenneth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nasar has managed to get both his arms back between Kenneth's legs - danger averted.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santiago Nasar dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Kenneth tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nasar swivels and escapes.

And Nasar tries to counter it with a takedown but Kenneth pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kenneth stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kenneth wants it to stay on the feet.
Nasar uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kenneth has time to react.

Nasar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
